Unfortunately, it is not possible to convert from MariaDB to MySQL using the MySQL/MariaDB Upgrade option in WHM.
You can, however, convert from MySQL to MariaDB.
If you would like to convert from MariaDB to MySQL, you would need to set up a new cPanel server (which would come with MySQL out-the-box), and then migrate the accounts over using the WHM Transfer Tool.
