Ubuntu 20.04 (and global template refresh!)

We're extremely pleased to say we've just completed a major upgrade for our VPS platform! This work involved the removal of "legacy" OpenVZ templates, to the new "EZ" template system. This provides a huge number of benefits over the previous template system, chief among which is the fact it makes keeping the templates up-to-date a breeze. This means that when you deploy a VPS with us or reinstall the OS on an existing VPS, you'll no longer need to run yum update
or apt-get upgrade
and have to wait for updates, as they'll already be done!
Consequently, you get a faster, more stable, and more secure VPS, right out the box!
Additionally, we've now added Ubuntu 20.04. Debian 8 has been removed, as it is End of Life. We recommend that all customers run one of the following OS', all of which are still supported by security updates at minimum:
- CentOS 6
- CentOS 7
- CentOS 8
- Ubuntu 16.04
- Ubuntu 18.04
- Ubuntu 20.04
- Debian 9
- Debian 10
To reinstall your VPS with one of the new templates, simply visit this link for instructions.
Thank you, and enjoy!
